Hey, lovelies! It's been quite a while since my last blog post to you all and for that I apologize immensely. Life got in the way...shocking that working a small business by myself wouldn't allow me plenty of time to leisurely sit at my laptop while sipping coffee from an adorable cup writing lovely blog posts! HA! It's so picturesque and so wildly unrealistic! Luckily, things have settled into more of a manageable routine and I'm starting to get the hang of this which means that today I'm finally getting around to posting this particular snippet about why I chose our newest designers!
I have so many ideas about what types of designers and gowns I want to carry in my boutique and every day I meet brides who give me insight as to what they're loving and what's important to them which also provides me with direction.
Laine Berry Couture- Without a doubt, Laine is the most beloved designer in my boutique. In my personal opinion, independent designers are the life's blood of this industry. They consistently have the most unique and cutting edge designs that seem to meld couture and traditional into one all encompassing collection that is cost efficient for both vendor and bride, as well as stunning. These gowns range from $1,100-$2,300. www.laineberry.com/
St. Patrick by Pronovias- The first time I touched a wedding gown, it was a Pronovias. Praised for their delicate and ornate lace, they always make a statement. St. Patrick by Pronovias is the oldest bridal company in the WORLD. Not a huge deal at all..(it's a huge deal). These gowns are stunning to look at and have that flair for drama with long trains and heavy amounts of embroidery. These gowns range from $1,300-$2,900. www.sanpatrick.com/
Sophia Tolli & David Tutera/Martin Thornburg- Staple designers for company, Mon Cheri, these two speak for themselves. Not only are they two of the leading designers featured on Pinterest, they're often heavily featured in bridal magazines like The Knot, Modern Bride and Elegant Bride. These gowns feature beautiful lace applique and gorgeous beading and range from $1,500-$2,900. moncheribridals.com/wedding-dresses/sophia-tolli/
Montage by Mon Cheri- After searching high and low for stylish Mother of the Bride/Groom gowns, I decided on Montage for their elegant and youthful, yet conservative design. For those mothers who despise bolero jackets, this line is for YOU! These gowns range from $310-$450. moncheribridals.com/mother-of-the-bride/montage-by-mon-cheri/
So there you have it, dolls! These are the current designers I carry at GRBC, but I do like to change it up so I cannot promise all of them will remain in the boutique for more than one year at a time. Its important to me to carry designers I believe in and connect with which may mean in the future you might see my boutique transform into an independent designer only atmosphere!
Stay tuned for more posts dedicated specifically to each designer and what I love about them in detail!
